2. Lawful Basis for Processing
- Account Data (Email/Name): Processed under Contractual Necessity to provide the service.
- Technical Data (IPs/Logs): Processed under Legitimate Interests to prevent fraud and abuse.
- Marketing: Processed only with your Consent.
3. Sub-Processors & International Transfers
We use the following third parties to run Pagecord. Some may process data outside the UK/EEA (e.g., USA). Where this occurs, we ensure Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) are in place:
- Paddle: Payments & Billing
- Hetzner: Server Infrastructure (Germany)
- Cloudflare / R2: Security & Image Storage (Western Europe - WEUR)
- Postmark / Mailpace: Transactional Emails
- AppSignal / Sentry: Error Monitoring
4. Retention & Cookies
Retention: We keep account data for as long as your account is active. Upon deletion, data is removed from active databases within 30 days. Billing records are kept for 6 years as required by UK tax law.
Cookies: We use essential cookies to maintain your session and security. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
5. Children's Privacy
Pagecord does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at [email protected] for immediate deletion.
6. Your Rights
Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, or port your data. You may also object to or restrict processing. To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. You may lodge a complaint with the ICO if you feel your data is mishandled.
